Summary:

The Child Mind Institute is recruiting a Program Management and Evaluations Manager for Professional Training for the School and Community Programs. Breaking down barriers to care, the Professional Training team engages in collaborative relationships with school partners to build on strengths and increase capacity for sustainable access to mental wellness for students. These training programs bring a suite of evidence-based services to prevent and treat student mental health disorders in school and community settings, including a K-12 mental health skill-building curriculum and evidence-based treatment to children and teens struggling with posttraumatic stress, behavior, attention, mood, or learning disorders.

The Program Management and Evaluation Manager role is responsible for supervising Project Coordinators for Professional Training in New York City and the Bay Area. The role involves ensuring deep engagement with partner districts, schools, and community stakeholders, as well as efficient deployment of professional training resources on a large scale. The Manager is also responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining training program plans, timelines, and schedules in collaboration with senior directors and clinicians. The Manager tracks all program activities and outcomes, implements data collection systems, and collaborates with data scientists to analyze program impact. Additionally, the Manager ensures compliance with grant requirements, assists with grant writing, and prepares reports and presentations on program outcomes for stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the national scaling of professional training, contribute to innovative programming, and collaborate with a dynamic team.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Professional Training, School and Community Programs, this is an exempt, full-time position based at our NYC headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise New York City and Bay Area Project Coordinators for Professional Training, ensuring in-depth engagement with partner districts, schools and community stakeholders as well as efficient deployment at scale of professional training resources.
  • Manage, develop and maintain training program plans, timelines, and schedules for professional training. This includes collaboration with senior directors and clinicians on the implementation of various training programs nationally.
  • Manage and delegate tracking all program activities and outcomes of professional training.
  • Develop and implement systems to collect and manage data related to program activities, participants, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design and implement data analysis plans to demonstrate program impact and effectiveness.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality control measures and conducting regular data audits in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Sciences and Director of Programs.
  • Oversee the monitoring of grant agreements and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Coordinate with program staff to collect data and information for grant reports.
  • Participate in fundraising activities, including assisting with grant writing and preparation for donor meetings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS required, master's degree in a related field is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a school, community or nonprofit setting
  • Proven experience in process improvement, strategic planning and development, program and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of customer relationship management and learning management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills..
  • Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of initiative, dependability, and the ability to be productive in an autonomous environment.

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
