Overview

As the VP Global Sales of our MICE division YES (Your Event Solutions) Ltd, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving business growth through existing client proliferation, the acquisition of new clients and expanding our market presence worldwide. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing innovative sales strategies to attract and secure profitable new business. By leading our dynamic sales and account management teams, you will play a critical role in positioning YES as a leading player in the MICE industry and achieving ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities
    New Customer Acquisition Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive new customer acquisition strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
    • Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and devise effective sales approaches.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and account management team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in securing sales growth and new clients through product proliferation.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability within the sales team, motivating them to exceed growth targets.
  • Global Sales Expansion:
    • Drive the expansion of our market presence worldwide, exploring new geographic regions and partnerships to support growth in the client base and facilitate global opportunities.
    • Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure cohesive and effective new customer acquisition strategies across different markets.
  • Client Relationship Development:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in potential global clients, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Lead the team in crafting compelling proposals and presentations to win new business and establish YES as a preferred Meetings and Events partner.
  • Sales Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, customer feedback, and market insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
    • Provide regular performance reports to the executive team, offering data-driven insights and recommendations for achieving growth objectives.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
    • 10-15 years of progressive experience in sales, or operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the MICE industry or a related sector.
  • MICE Industry Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, including global market dynamics, customer preferences, and industry best practices.
    • Familiarity with event management systems, technology, and trends.
  • Strategic Vision and Leadership:
    • Proven track record in developing and executing successful new customer acquisition strategies in a corporate environment.
    • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a sales team to achieve and surpass ambitious targets.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills:
    • Exceptional sales acumen with a track record of closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth.
    • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset:
    • Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns, and develop actionable insights.
  • Adaptability and Global Mindset:
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving global business environment, with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and international business practices.
  • Ability to Travel Up to 50%
