RWJBH is seeking a Speech Coordinator at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day position 40 hours/week.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimal 3 years clinical experience as SLP with preference for acute care setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients in the acute care and/or OP setting. Patient and family intervention on all nursing units including, but not limited to neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine and telemetry, emergency department, and pediatrics.

Must be familiar with inpatient and outpatient operations.

Manage scheduling, staff orientation/mentorship, payroll, performance appraisals and speech department operations.

Work with director on candidate hiring, program development, and quality improvement.

Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary communication.

Weekend availability required.
