Compensation

$100,000 - 130,000 plus bonus* This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The District Service Manager is responsible for the success of service delivery. The DSM provides leadership to a team of field employees and manages the field organization to achieve customer, employee, and shareholder satisfaction. (Northeast Territory: NY to Maine).

Optimal location for the candidate to be located is New York City, Philadelphia or Boston.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Plans and executes business operations and strategies in line with Customer Care strategic plan and AOP
  • Executes and implements all national services and support programs
  • Leverages existing business tools to achieve customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Complies with regional government and corporate Human Resource policies (e.g. FDA, FMLA, ADA, Safety, Labor Laws)
  • Works with Area Sales and Technical Support manager to ensure the district and regional strategies and policies are properly aligned and implemented
  • Leads, motivates, and develops direct reports in their business responsibilities to achieve operational excellence and a truly focused competitive organization
  • Leads and manages activities to achieve customer, employee and shareholder targets linked to AOP commitments
  • Monitors performance and initiates with corrective action as required
  • Ensures that services and support are balanced to achieve optimum earnings for the company
  • Works with AVP of Sales and Regional Service Managerto understand area market trends, customer satisfaction, customer needs, and sales/service teamwork objectives
  • Overnight travel up to 25%
Required Skills & Education:
  • Over 5 years of experience in the management of Field Service professionals (skills with first line supervision, as well as customer relationship ownership)
  • Must have experience with complex products or medical device support/service environments. Medical device is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to interface with all levels of customer contacts.
  • Total understanding of field operations impact on P&L and customer delight
  • Other Skills: MS Office, strong Excel skills,SAP C4C is a plus

Work Environment:

Hospitals, Critical care imaging centers, remote

Physical Requirements:
  • The average driving time varies and may exceed 50% at times.
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • Must be flexible in working hours as this position will require customer support during non-regular business hours, occasional overtime, and/or weekend work as necessary.
  • Job operates in the hospital/medical environment and remotely from a home office location.
  • Required to adhere to certification/credentialing required by the customer in connection with admission into its facilities to perform job duties.
  • Customer requirements may include, but are not limited to, drug testing and immunizations as dictated by the customer or facility policy.
